Our origins go back to a small midlands based company which began trading in 1982. Since then Abbott Damp Proofing have continuously been at the forefront of the remedial treatment industry.
In the mid 1980’s we were one of the first companies to be recognised under the earliest British Standards Institution nomination scheme and in the early 1990’s became only the fifth remedial treatment company in the U.K. to achieve BS 5750 (ISO 9002).
In the mid 1990’s we opened a new branch serving London and the surrounding areas and in 2002 were featuring in 'Timeout' magazine as one of their 'essential contacts' and 'one of the best contacts in town'.

More recently, we have continued to develop our business through the British Wood Preserving & Damp Proofing Association (BWPDA) and the Structural Waterproofing Group (SWG), our surveyors being amongst the first in the UK to obtain the Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) qualification.
