Abbott Damp Proofing Ltd was formed in 1982 in the East Midlands. Since then we have remained at the forefront of the remedial treatment industry and became only the third remedial treatment company in England to achieve BS5750 (ISO 9002).
In 1999 we opened a branch in North London and in 2002 featured in TimeOut London magazine as one of their 'essential contacts'. We provide technical assistance to the Guardian newspaper, answering reader's letters regarding damp and timber problems. In 2007 we worked on Channel 4 Television's 'Room for Improvement' property makeover program.
We have continued to develop technical and advisory services including contributions to training manuals and articles. Our surveyors hold the highly regarded Certificated Surveyor in Remedial Treatment (CSRT) and Certificated Surveyor in Structural Waterproofing (CSSW) qualifications and are members of the expert panel of Dampexpert.com
